There is tremendous interest in Tom Cruise joining the D.C. movie universe- but who could he play ? Cruise is one of the biggest movie stars on the planet. He achieved fame and fortune throughout his career without starring in any Superhero movie.

Tom Cruise has recently revealed that he's open to joining the DC universe. While promoting his latest movie "Mission Impossible- Fall Out", he stated that he would to do a live-action Superhero movie in future.

Tom being an A-list actor who has tackled everything from a big budget like the Mission Impossible series to low budget movie Top Gun. He even had an Oscar nomination for the "Born on the Fourth of July". But he hasn't yet attempted the Superhero genre.

In an interview with MTV Cinema-Con, Cruise explained that "There's always another mountain", when asked if he would ever be willing to play the lead in a superhero movie.

Henry Cavill, who played Superman in Man of Steel, BvS and Justice League, responded to cruiCr joining the DC movie universe (specifically playing the role of Green Lantern) telling that "There would be something very interesting in that".
